RÜDE CÅT – Brown Liquor

What a unique sonic experience it is listening to Brown Liquor by RÜDE CÅT. This exciting single released in 2021 certainly caught my attention and will surely catch yours too. Everything about it radiates originality, so put your headphones on and treat your ears to a rare occurrence!

Where does one start when the sense of hearing has been stimulated to such a degree? From the beginning I suppose. And right from the first strums of the guitar, the extraordinary vibe of this song, Brown Liquor debuts. The magical finger movements on the acoustic guitar coupled with the vibrant ukulele make your ears stand directly to attention. Then RÜDE CÅT‘s seductive, husky voice makes an entrance and that’s it, you know you are listening right to the end now, then again and again and again. Thenceforth, some well orchestrated twinkles on the piano, clapping of the hands, thudding on the drums, etc create an undeniably interesting, harmonious soundscape. Brown Liquor by RÜDE CÅT just oozes with authenticity and creativity.

To continue with the superlative experience, the lyrics just happen to be totally relatable. The give and take element in relationships is always tricky but inevitable in order to move forward. Whether it be your relationship with someone else or something else, we all have our vices which need to be checked from time to time. Brown Liquor touches on this topic. On social media, RÜDE CÅT stated that, “There’s going to be times where moments of self reflection are necessary. I wrote Brown Liquor in the backseat of a car during one of those spells… I hope that through this poetry, you find something that also speaks to you.”

I honestly think we can all find something in the song Brown Liquor by RÜDE CÅT that speaks to us, even if it is the sensational way this Queens – NY based producer, composer, musician, writer, and artist sings ohh ohh!
