King Hannah – Big Big Baby

Music is definitely a therapy and the British band King Hannah provides us with another great example. From their forthcoming debut album, I’m Not Sorry, I Was Just Being Me, which is set for release on February 25th, the Liverpool band just rolled out the single Big Big Baby.
A heavy bass line supported by a fat beat on the drum toms and distorted guitars, the duo composed of Hannah Merrick (vocals, guitars) and Craig Whittle (guitars) deliver a superior piece of indie rock.

I heard you got a lady pregnant, well I can only wish her well.
‘Cause soon you’ll have a bigger baby, in the family than yourself.
I can’t explain,
you were a pain pain pain pain. I can’t explain,
you were a big big baby.
I hope you choke on, on a dumpling, at least that would be mildly fun.

If this is not cathartic then what is?!? Big Big Baby is a masterwork in creating a dark and smoky atmosphere and the mesmerizing voice of Hannah will take you to another dimension where you will feel pain and relief at the same time.
From the aforementioned upcoming LP, and prior to Big Big Baby, King Hannah already revealed the singles All Being Fine and A Well-Made Woman, two fabulous rock songs in pure style, so we are really looking forward for Feb 25th.

Until then, don’t eat too many dumplings…
