Couch – Still Feeling You

Did you know that Couch as a band could have remained a concept instead of being the seven core members who formed the actual band today? “We were planning on featuring different musicians. But we had so much fun working on [our] first single … We decided to keep this group solidified and move forward with this core,” said guitarist Zach Blankstein. And you understand why when you listen to Still Feeling You… oooohhh that groove… these celestial voices… wow! I think my bones are still dancing inside my body!
Still Feeling You is the first track on the self-titled EP Couch released in February 2021 and is about commitment in luuuv… (sigh). It’s a perfect example of pop and funk mixed. A popunk ? Ok… sorry.

This recently formed (2018) band of young artists is composed of Tema Siegel (lead vocals), Zach Blankstein (guitar, bass), Jared Gozinsky (drums, percussion), Will Griffin (bass), Danny Silverston (keyboards), Jeffrey Pinsker-Smith (trumpet, other brass) and Eric Tarlin (saxophone, vocals, synths). Until Spring 2021, the members of the band were scattered in different universities across the USA and they even record virtually for three years!!! Which increases, every musician knows that, the difficulty of recording as the tightness, the groove, the variations and moods could be so easily impacted. I must say, their talent is so impeccable, there is nothing to notice on the groove of Still Feeling You… wait… my left foot is still dancing…

They are now based in Boston, USA but I’m pretty sure we will see them all over the world very soon!
