The Main Squeeze – Sunday Morning

Wow! The Main Squeeze have created a funky number with Sunday Morning which will bring more than a smile to your face. This track, the first from a yet to be released album, will have you moving all over the place. Indeed the amalgamation of the rich resonating keyboard and keytar strikes, the funky record scratching, the tight guitar vibrations, the percussive bass bite as well as the groovy vocals seem to be straight out of Motown.

The Main Squeeze, comprising of Corey Frye (vocals, keys), Ben “Smiley” Silverstein (keys, keytar), Maximillian Newman (guitar), Reuben Gingrich (drums) and Rob “Skywalker” Walker (bass, keys, vocals) apparently met while at Indiana University. On social media the group stated, “Last August we rented a house in the desert of Tehachapi, Ca, hauled in our studio gear, and over the course of the next eight days wrote and recorded a brand new Squeeze album.” This Indiana band are attracting much attention to themselves and with tracks like Sunday Morning, it’s not hard to guess why!
