LEISURE – Slipping Away

This easy to listen to track, Slipping Away from Leisure, really allows one to slip away, if only for a few minutes, and chill out with the groove that it oozes. New Zealand band LEISURE, not only exudes a relaxed atmosphere with this song, they also make music in a relaxed fashion. Each member chooses the instrument they play. This freedom and respect, not to mention amazing talent has bore its fruit. Djeisan Suskov, Jaden Parkes, Josh Fountain, Tom Young and Jordan Arts, are not only independently successful, they have collectively released three albums, one EP and various singles.

The band stated that, “‘Slipping Away’ comes from a place of good intention. Knowing you need to step up and be better for the ones you love despite on-going challenges. Musically we based the song around the guitar riff which was a first for us.”
