Wet Leg – Wet Dream
Not long after releasing “Chaise Longue” which has reached 3 million streams, the British duo, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, of Wet Leg from the Isle of Wight returns with a new powerful single “Wet Dream“.
Teadsdale said about the song: “‘Wet Dream’ is a breakup song; it came about when one of my exes went through a stage of texting me after we’d broken up telling me that ‘he had a dream about me’.“
Even though the title of the song is pretty obvious, I know what you’re thinking about the name of the band and… you are wrong! Dirty you! It actually is an indication of where they are coming from, which is a sparsely populated island off the south coast of England accessible only by boat. Shame on you.
One of the buzziest bands in 2021, Wet Leg only started their adventure in 2019! Big fans of Jane Birkin, The Ronettes and Bjork, their style is similar to 80s punk-rock with heavy guitars and efficient 4/4 beats but, oh my… what an imagination and creativity! They are just awesome and we are just hooked now!
But here is good news, their debut album, named “Wet Leg“, will be out on April 8th 2022, is it enough to make a girl blushed or what?!?
Enjoy Wet Dream and do not text your exes!

About headphonik
We are musicians and to help unknown or “less” known artists to promote their art, we became curators, so we curate and explore the web to find what’s really good and probably underrated in independent music.
Enjoy and take care.
