Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers – Ahhhh!

These four girls are obviously not dogs (cover picture of the EP) but lions!!! Vocalist Anna Ryan, guitarist/vocalist Scarlett McKahey, bassist Jaida Stephenson and drummer Neve van Boxsel, from Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers (tjjt) released the very punchy AHHHH! in 2021.
The quartet from Canberra brings so much energy on this track that you will jump out of your chair and scream! AHHHH!
Indie rock like we love it: pure.

Anna Ryan said about the song: “‘AHHHH!’ is loosely about navigating a relationship with someone you have known for a long time but their character changes.You find yourself making excuses for them and forgiving them when the answer is clear that sometimes you just need to ditch and move the heck on!“

Fair enough, I wouldn’t like to contradict her 😉
I have to say, there is one bad thing about AHHHH!: it only lasts 2:25 minutes and we want more!!! I will definitely listen to it on replay.
Keep an eye (and an ear) on Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, believe me, they are dynamite and will reach the top very fast!
