Cassia – Similar

Following their successful tour in the UK this fall, Cassia returns with a new groovy and catchy song called “Similar“. Right from the beginning of the track, you will feel the powerful mix of pop/funk and afro beats which is Cassia’s signature (the frontman grew up in Zambia). Listen to that bass and guitar riff and it will take you to dance wherever you are!

Rob Ellis, the lead singer and guitarist of the Macclesfield’s band (North of England) said:

“Similar is a song about the people behind their social media profiles, who say things to people and about people they would never tell them in their face and who make unfounded judgments. This anonymity that we have created and the power it gives us is something that is abused so easily and so often, it is really scary.
We want to draw attention to how this may affect others and encourage the writers of these remarks to think about how they would feel if this happened to them. Because we are all very similar, aren’t we?“
