Pina Palau – Jupi

Love, loneliness, pain and looking on the positive side of situations is what Pina Palau has engulfed in the self written track Jupi. The mundane yet riveting story being told is accompanied by a hard drum line, interesting bass riffs, attractive percussion and of course the beautiful, ear pleasing voice of Palau.

A young Swiss national, Pina Palau takes the ordinary and creates something extraordinary. Her much anticipated debut album, titled Illusions, is due for release in 2022. It is an amalgamation of modern indie folk with excerpts from the 1960s. Palau once said that she thinks of the album as a fogged up mirror: if you take the time to listen, you will suddenly recognise yourself in it.
