WILD – This is Our Time

Wild. This is the perfect adjective to describe the feeling I had listening to This is Our Time from… WILD. The song, led by atmospheric vocal arrangements and heavy rhythmic beat is a declaration of self love and a burst of positive energy. It’s as if Mother Nature slapped you in the face and told you to get up, have confidence in yourself and dare to move forward.
So put your headphones on and get slapped!

WILD is a Los Angeles/Nashville trio composed of Lauren Luiz (vocals), Tyler Thompson (producer/guitar), and Zach Daegatano (vocals/guitar). Lauren, besides being an actress and a former opera singer, has recently launched – with the help of Tyler, who is a successful producer as well – a “little” personal project which is becoming huge in the indie world: girlhouse (“Knuckle Tattoo“, “Concussion“…). As far as Zach is concerned, he has launched, at least, two successful pop projects: Mannequin Online and Goth gf.
Yep… I know… pretty annoying people these three… talent should be spread more evenly I’d say… (sigh)

This is our time

This is Our Time is the third track of the excellent debut album Goin’ Back, released in 2021. This album is very diverse and reflects a mix of emotions the band had to go through in their artistic evolution:
“It’s been a journey to say the least. As everyone knows, the music industry is full of ups and downs and confusing trends, paths, etc. We’ve been lucky to have success by way of syncs and great playlists. Which eventually led to real fans and people who genuinely love our music which is amazing to see. We wrote this album as more of a collection of moments instead of one cohesive concept. Songs from the album were written in Nashville, New York, and LA. Some tracks were started in one city and finished in another. But they’re all very specific to the moment they were made in. So some of them are a couple years old, and some are a couple months old, but we think it’s the perfect debut package for use.”
