Danielle Juhre – Burning
The first thing one does when listening to the hit Burning, is do a double take to re-read the name of the artist. No, it is not Adele but her voice doppelganger! Danielle Juhre‘s compelling voice, with a three and a half octave range, immediately catches ones attention. The similarities with other artists stops there and Juhre, a Chicago based singer-songwriter, avows her own unique indie pop style. Much of her authentic character is conveyed via the lyrics and message she shares in her latest single Burning.
Talking about the song writing process and motivation behind the song Burning, Danielle Juhre explained, “I’ll never forget how and why I wrote this song. At the time, I had lost my job and had to move back home and I was questioning myself and my purpose. ‘Burning’ came to me in silence and I immediately grabbed a pen and frantically began writing the lyrics, recording myself singing them. I wrote this song as a way to find light during one of the darkest times in my life and I’m hoping others can relate to it and remember to never give up on themselves.”
Hard times are something we can all relate to and inspiration to keep moving forward is always welcome! The catchy melodies, punchy choruses, velvet vocals and congenial message will have you feeling filled with courage in no time!

About headphonik
We are musicians and to help unknown or “less” known artists to promote their art, we became curators, so we curate and explore the web to find what’s really good and probably underrated in independent music.
Enjoy and take care.
