Roast Apple – Baby, I Gotta Go

Having super powers can sometimes come with downsides, and I know this very well as I’ve got a few. Yes. You’ll have to read the whole review to know them. What? Read? The WHOLE review? Cruel, right? I’m evil. Thankfully, Roast Apple has broken this super-powered humans’ taboo in Baby, I Gotta Go, released just a few days ago! So put your headphones on and fly! (don’t try if you’re not used to it, ok?)

Many people on Earth do not know how lonely a superhuman can be and I thank Roast Apple to finally highlight this issue in Baby, I Gotta Go. As far as this German band is concerned, one of their powers is obvious: they certainly possess the super groove power. Yep. I know. I’m so jealous. The same one which takes possession of your mind and make those toes move like crazy. Very powerful this one, unstoppable. Another power they’ve got is called back-to-the funky-disco-dancefloors-of-the-80s-but-without-actually-changing-time. Veeeery efficient. Oh yeah. This funky guitar and groovy bass playing on the octaves will get you every single time, so don’t try to resist it, pump up the volume and shake that body!

There’s a hijacked plane in the air and a high-speed runaway train
A politician billionaire with an evil brain
Making war for money
Got the whole world in his hands
Someone’s gotta stop him
And I’m the man

Ok, until last Thursday, I don’t think I would have commented this part of the lyrics of Baby, I Gotta Go… However, according to the fact that some so called world “leaders” are obviously living in parallel universes and only understand violence, I’ll only reply with four words: please do stop him!

The supermen of Roast Apple are Finn-Bo Lorenzen, Rouven Leonavicius, Lukas Christiansen and Liam Pitann. You must give their work a listen, otherwise, they may cast the funk addiction spell on you!

Oh I forgot… so my super powers… Actually I’ve got two:
– I write super good and funny reviews. Yes I do.
– And I make a delightful apple cake, including vanilla tornado and cinnamon lasers.
