A group of Lost Messiahs Searching in Mirrors to find the threshold between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind, to find answers to the abstract and unknown, is not a surprising notion, in fact it almost seems logical. Well, that’s exactly what happened to the Irish group, The Lost Messiahs when they created the beautiful track Searching in Mirrors. The single, Searching in Mirrors, debuts with not just one catchy guitar riff, but two! These complimentary but equally mesmerising riffs will captivate you from the get go. Then, the pounding drums and supporting bass provide the mainstay, anchoring the song throughout. This soft rock soundscape is then joined by the smooth, velvety vocals which deliver the story of Searching in Mirrors with gentle conviction. This carefully crafted piece incites head swaying and gentle chanting, ‘He’s been calling out for love.‘

The songwriter of Searching in Mirrors, Ollie Plunkett from The Lost Messiahs, exclusively told headphonik, “Searching in Mirrors continues themes of spiritual searching,self-discovery and search for enlightenment that were explored on our second album ‘Deconstruction of the Mind’ It also captures the sense of frustration and isolation felt by a band who had just released a new album and were about to embark on a tour of East Coast America playing at prestigious venues in New York/ New Jersey to promote it.” How amazing that this talented group were able to channel such frustration into creative genius.

The Lost Messiahs is an Irish indie-rock quartet comprising of Eamonn Duff on bass and backing vocals, James O’ Connor on vocals and acoustic guitar, Ollie Plunkett on electric guitar and backing vocals and Martha Cummins on drums and backing vocals. This talented group has garnered much attention for their work at home and abroad.

Searching In Mirrors was produced by Ollie Plunkett , at Golden Egg Studios, Portlaoise, Ireland and mastered by Greg Calbi, Sterling Sound, New York. This stunning single will appear on the group’s upcoming third studio album titled Connected to the Real.
